ABSTRACT
The article reports on the importance of opticians having an online presence as of April 2011 due to the large number of people in Great Britain who access the Internet daily for services, product, or information. That online presence helps attract patients and promote business is discussed. The author emphasizes that the website should be easy to use, quick to find, and have search engine optimization. On- and off-page optimization is described to increase presence on the web with methods such as email updates, directory listings, and video marketing.
