Determine Your Document Management Software Needs

The article discusses the steps that will help financial planning firms create a software adoption plan needed to identify the proper document management software solution that will conform to their financial planning practices. The author presents nine specific questions that will serve as an outline for the type of software solution necessary for the firm's planning services. She mentions the identification of the firm's top two or three business objectives as the first step in the selection of business software solution. She suggests that financial planning firms should download Financial Planning Association's (FPA) Document Management Software Adoption Plan template for further information.
