ABSTRACT
The article presents the author's comments on various issues dealing with people in the United States. The author feels that majority of female Americans are gaining weight at a faster pace. Americans are now, on average, considered as the fattest people on earth. The centrifugal dispersion of the cities in the country is again accelerating. The prospects of the U.S. government to cut down energy use in the country seems to be blurred. The idea of restoring and renovating old housing is spreading in the U.S.
