ABSTRACT
This article comments on columnist Malachi Martin's views on true love. The author disagrees with the views expressed by Martin in his column" Out of This World" published in the September issue of this journal. The human soul is more resilient. By Martin's standard any priest in any suburban confessional would be depraved beyond hope after one week. The author treasures Martin's right to express himself in his column "Hostage." The author is curious about the real Malachi Martin. The author also analyses Martin's views on love and marriage.
