ABSTRACT
The article presents the author's views about the policies of Jerry Brown, Governor of California. After spending 60 million dollars on the transportation policy in California, Brown dropped the plan after its shortcomings were revealed. Brown's term now has less than a year to run, and a number of politicians will compete against him in the forthcoming elections. Politician Ken Maddy will offer serious competition to Brown in the elections. Maddy has the support of the agriculture sector and the business community--groups that Brown has opposed over the past few years.
