ABSTRACT
The article focuses on Daniel Moynihan's new book "A Dangerous Place," which chronicles his exhilarating eight months at the United Nations. Moynihan's anger is with regard to the planning of the State Department. According to him, foreign policy establishment is composed of decent people, who are unprepared for their work. When Moynihan asked the United Nations Association, a citizen's group, to protest the infamous Zionism resolution, they began their draft with a condemnation of racism in America.
