ABSTRACT
This article presents information on the U.S. politicians. Five Democrats are positioning themselves for the presidential nomination. The article discusses the prospects of Democrat George Wallace for the Presidential nomination. Representative Donald M. Fraser is organizing a March meeting of liberal Democrats to discuss possible "liberal candidates." Senator John McClellan said that in the past ten years government social programs have tripled, from $78.8 billion to $255.3 billion, and he plans to oppose any "welfare reform" that would increase costs and the number of recipients.
