Discusses the status of intellectual proletarians in the U.S. Description of various characteristics of intellectual proletarians; Information that a proletarian is a person who offers nothing to the commonwealth but his own progeny as a man rootless, lacking duties or prospects, seemingly with little to lose by a social upheaval; View that with the diminishing of university and college enrollments during recent years, the expectations of many young educated people have been increased.
