ABSTRACT
The article reports on the political risk, economic risk, and business conditions in Poland which include the decline of support for Civic Platform party led by Prime Minister Donald Tusk at 31.7%, based from the April 21, 2011 poll by the research firm Homo Homini, a 13.1% drop in unemployment in March, and the threat on sale for the coking coal miner company Jastrzebska Spolka Weglowa SA (JSW) as the government plans for its privatisation.
