ABSTRACT
The article discusses the role and importance of villains in role playing games. The author notes that game masters (GMs) aim to introduce memorable recurring villains as well as find ways to stoke animosity towards them. The abilities of these foes is described in detail, as well as tips for keeping the villain alive when confronted by player characters (PCs).
