ABSTRACT
The article offers the author's insights on titanium as the ideal frame material for manual wheelchairs. The author highlights the advantages of titanium such as unique strength and high strength-to-weight ratio, dampening qualities, and durability. He also cites the high cost of titanium since it is hard to refine and needs expertise and precision in welding. He adds that users and therapists should determine the frame materials.
