ABSTRACT
The article reports on the Amalgamated Clothing and Textile Workers Union and its fight against the efforts of J.P Stevens & Co. The union considered J.P Stevens & Co. to be the number one labor law violator as it tries to fight the unionization of 44,000 workers in 83 plants. The action of the Amalgamated Clothing and Textile Workers Union includes the isolation of Stevens from the financial communities and business.
