ABSTRACT
The article discusses a study which investigated cardiovascular multimorbidity between ethnic groups and explored the variations of the management of physician-modified risk factors by both ethnicity and morbidity. Results showed the greater likelihood of patients of non-white ethnicity to be multimorbid compared to their white counterparts. Findings revealed the less likelihood of patients of African American ethnicity to meet the blood pressure and cholesterol targets, as well as their greater likelihood to reach morbidity levels.
