¦ FORMER Lib Dem leader Tavish Scott seemed happy as a kid playing with a birthday present as he mounted a new bike in the dying days of the campaign, declaring his party had hit 'top gear'. But by the time his 45th birthday dawned on the day after the election, the wheels had come off the Lib Dem bike - with only Mr Scott and four colleagues left at Holyrood.
