ABSTRACT
IN a last-ditch attempt to shake off his 'Mr Invisible' tag, hapless Labour leader Iain Gray issued a press release boasting that on the campaign trail he had shaken 8,600 hands, drunk 75 litres of water and eaten 86 oranges. Among other quoted statistics was one that seemed to sum up his supporters, '5,000 Labour balloons'.
