The article presents information on the supply and price scenario of butadiene (BD), in Asia. According to a South Korean trader, there was still a lot of scope for additional price increases above 3,000 dollars/tonne, citing the current supply constraints and critical pull from the downstream synthetic rubber market. Another trader commented that the sky's the limit for BD prices, that are climbing with all the technical issues.
