ABSTRACT
The article focuses on check-in and registration systems in U.S. hospitals. Richmond Bone & Joint Clinic chief executive officer Juliet Breeze says that patient satisfaction surveys requesting express check-in revealed to her the front desk inefficiencies happening at her clinic. The clinic installed a kiosk check-in system from NCR which integrated in the organization's payment management system. Orlando Health uses check-in and registration system called Access Quality Manager which is developed in partnership with QuadraMed.
