ABSTRACT
The article discusses the findings of the 2011 Patient Safety Survey conducted by the HealthLeaders Media Intelligence Unit. Topics covered include the rank of patient safety in the financial priorities of organizations, the drive of patient safety initiatives and monitoring, and the patient safety issue that concerns the organization most. The findings are indicative of the effort of healthcare organizations in establishing plans to improve patient safety, according to Bertine McKenna, chief operating officer o Bassett Healthcare Network.
