ABSTRACT
The article reports on the importance of energy efficiency planning in retrofit projects. It provides an overview on the four phases involved in energy retrofit project which include energy audits and retrocomissioning, energy-analysis modeling, energy-conservation measures and prioritization and design implementation, construction and start up. It cites that a change in major pieces of equipment such as chillers with digital scroll compressors contributes in achieving energy efficiency goals.
