ABSTRACT
The article presents a report from the Metals Service Center Institute Inc. depicting the rise of inventory-to-sales ratios of steel and aluminum products in February 2011 in Rolling Meadows, Illinois. It notes the February shipments of steel products from U.S. service centers which totaled about 3.2 million tons or 20.2 percent greater from February 2010. It shows the shipments of aluminum products from U.S. service centers which totaled 113, 300 tons or 25.9 percent greater from February 2010.
