ABSTRACT
The article offers optometry-related news briefs in the U.S. including the move of the Food & Drug Amdministration (FDA) to accept a New Drug Application (NDA) for Saflutan, a cataract and asthma study which reveals that inhaled steroids pose no threat to cataract or ocular pressure vision, and the release of a white paper on the damaging effects of ultraiolet (UV) radiation to eyesight by Prevent Blindness America.
