Measured uncertainties in QEXAFS measurements are determined using an oversampling technique. The output of an ionization chamber is read through a current amplifier using a sampling analog to digital converter. By oversampling the data, uncertainties are determined simultaneously with data collection. © 2000 American Institute of Physics.
