ABSTRACT
Small Angle X-ray Scattering (SAXS) measurements are reported for Poly Ethylene Oxide (PEO) - Sodium Thiocyanate (NaSCN) mixtures, as a function of composition and temperature. This system is known to possess a complex phase behavior. Accordingly its morphology reflects this complexity in the mesoscopic length scale. SAXS data have been analyzed by means of different approaches leading to a detailed picture of the material morphology. © 2000 American Institute of Physics.

Polymer dynamics in poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO)salt mixtures is investigated by means of quasi-elastic neutron scattering (QENS). In a previous study, we reported QENS data from the NEAT spectrometer (BENSC) that evidenced, for the first time, a dynamic heterogeneity in PEO-salt mixtures induced...

The article examines the study on nanoconstructions based on double-stranded DNA in polyethylene oxide hydrogels. It has been indicated that the permeability of the hydrogel bearing nanoconstructions with respect to various biologically active compounds determines the scope of its applicability...

Small angle neutron scattering measurements have been performed on polyethylene oxide (PEO)-salt solutions. An attempt is made to characterize experimentally the scattering behavior of aqueous (D[sub 2]O) polyethylene oxide and PEO-methanol solutions in the presence of potassium iodide (KI). In...

A new method has been developed for the determination of the solubility product of complexonate of known composition; because of the initial composition of the heterogeneous mixture (lot a), it uses only the equilibrium values of the pH. For the determination of the stability constant in...
