Hysteretic behavior of microwave second harmonic emission by superconductors in the critical state

We report experimental results on microwave second harmonic emission in different types of conventional and high-T[sub c] superconductors in the critical state. We show that the peculiarities of the second harmonic signal strongly depend on the type of superconductors. © 2000 American Institute of Physics.
