ABSTRACT
The article reports that Community Health Systems made an all-cash offer to acquire Tenet Healthcare Corp. The proposal, which is valued at 6.00 U.S. dollars a share or 7.3 billion U.S. dollars, is the second offer from Community following a rejection in November 2010. On the other hand, Community is currently under investigation for is Medicaid claims practices.
