ABSTRACT
This section offers news briefs related to railway infrastructure. A 475 million Australian dollar contract has been given to the TrackStar Alliance of Thiess, United Group Infrastructure and AECOM to construct the 9.5 kilometer Richlands-Springfield section of Queensland, Victoria's Springfield suburban line by 2013. Harsco will be supplying rail grinders worth 11 million U.S. dollars to the Suzhou and Guangfo metros in China. Jernbaneverket will be supplying rail in an agreement signed with Voestalpine Schienen.
