ABSTRACT
The article presents the addenda to the American National Standards Institute (ANSI)/American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE)/American Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE) Standard 170-2008, Ventilation of Health Care Facilities, in the U.S. It states that the ventilation provisions for airborne infection isolation (AII) rooms are clarified by the Addemdum e. It adds that the ASHRAE process of continuous maintenance is beneficial to the standard.
