The article focuses on diagnosis of bowel obstruction and pelvic mass. It features the case of a 42 year old woman who complains of having severe constipation accompanied by bilious vomiting and colicky abdominal pain. It mentions diagnostic procedures for bowel obstruction which include magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), colonoscopy, and exploratory laparotomy. It also discusses neoplastic changes that arise from endometriosis and its medical and surgical management.
