ABSTRACT
The article examines the marital infidelity among politicians in the U.S., especially women. It states that women in elected office are far less likely to be named in sex scandals than men because there are far more men than women in public office. It also notes that as women move more into the public political realm, the more they are falling prey to public exposure of marital lapses.
