ABSTRACT
The article discusses the study which examined the psychometric properties of separate scales that measured the differences in social physique anxiety (SPA) across social contexts. The researchers highlighted the important role played by social support systems including family and friends. The study found the significant differences in SPA in terms of acceptance in social context and social support systems.
