ABSTRACT
The article reports on the rapid growth of the ground source heat pump (GSHP) market which has created some challenges in the U.S. It states that growth has created a shortage of experienced loop installers and a delay in the implementation of a project to accommodate the schedule of heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) contractors. John Clapp of the International Ground Source Heat Pump Association (IGSHPA) elaborates the need for contractors to attend a training program.
