The article offers information on the economic and political conditions of Lithuania such as the Homeland Union (HU) party which lost its power over various municipal councils during the municipal elections, continued economic recovery which is observed throughout the country in which growth accelerated to 4.6% year-on-year, and the 22% drop on the retail sales index of the country.
