Competition policy--DTI booklet

This article reports that the British Department of Trade and Industry has published a revised version of its booklet, Competition Policy -- How It Works. The booklet gives brief guidance on the laws surrounding mergers, monopolies, anti-competitive practices and European Commission competition rules, and lists useful telephone number and other relevant publications. The revised edition includes changes incorporated in the 1989 Companies Act.
