ABSTRACT
The article presents a study on dominant-hand grip strength to determine whether it is affected by asymmetrical tonic neck reflex and to compare the results with grip strength achieved with Kinesio tape applied to the flexor muscles of the dominant hand. The grip strength was measured using a Jamer dynamometer under 3 conditions which is in neutral position, head-neck rotation, and with Kinesio tape applied. The study concluded that muscle strength may improve through Kinesio taping application.
