ABSTRACT
The article offers information on propylene oxide (PO), which is used as an intermediate for the production of commercial materials. It states that polyether polyols, propylene glycol and propylene glycol ethers are its main derivatives. It mentions that the consumption of PO depends on the making of polyether polyols, whose is growth in demand is dependant on the use in polyurethane (PU) foam.
