New York State Conservationist;Apr2011, Vol. 65 Issue 5, p18
The article focuses on artist Arthur Fitzwilliam Tait and his artworks on Adirondacks, New York. The equal billing of the sportsman with his surroundings in his works is said to differentiate him from other artists. Lithography firm Currier & Ives helped popularize Tait's paintings of the U.S. in the 19th century. The Adirondack Museum will assemble the best of his works on hunting and fishing in an exhibition entitled "The Adirondack World of A. F. Tait" from May 27 to October 17, 2011.
