ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the efforts to renovate the Bamboo Walk of Panama's Summit Zoo Botanical Garden by Mike Bostwick, Associate Horticulture Director at the San Diego Zoo, in coordination with Bamboo of the Americas (BOTA) Director, Gib Cooper, and the zoo's director, Iris Rojas. It provides a background of Summit Municipal Park. The renovation was made possible by a grant and will take place for educational and conservational purposes.
