ABSTRACT
The article presents a message from the president of the American Bamboo Society. He offers an appreciation to all the members of the organization who volunteered and took an active role in keeping the organization running. He expresses his gratitude to everyone, from the board members, the chapter officers and contributors, down to the mailing expeditors and aides. He also encourages other members of the society to participate actively in order to evenly distribute work load and reduce burn out.
