An introduction to the journal is presented in which the editor discusses various articles published within the issue including one by John Sylgielski on the 21st-Century Initiative Listening Tour, one by Bob Violino on the environmental recovery efforts of the Louisiana community and the area colleges, and one by Margaret Miller on the college completion program of the El Paso Community College (EPCC).
