ABSTRACT
The article discusses the history and practice of Mongolian bibliography. It examines the influence of Buddhism, writings in the Tibetan language, and Mongolian block printing houses. The author also reflects on nineteenth and twentieth century bibliographical scholarship by several scholars, including Meksey Bobrovnikov, a Mongolian language teacher at Kazan University.
