ABSTRACT
The article examines the U.S. operation in Libya that is intended to facilitate the removal of the nation’s leader, Muammar Gaddafi. The author examines the operation, which was orchestrated by U.S. President Barack Obama, as an effort of multilateralism that allegedly goes beyond anything previously attempted by a president. It is attested that the proposal of a limited military intervention has upset the whole of Obama’s constituency. The goal of this operation is regime change within Libya, and the U.S. is collaborating with other countries such as Great Britain, France, and Qatar.
