The article reports on the risks of contracting cloud services in the U.S. It notes that the risk include the immaturity of the cloud sourcing contracts, the opaqueness of the terms of the contract, and the ambiguity of the service commitment from vendors. It notes the need for cloud service providers to manage the expectations of the users and to carry out a deep risk analysis on the impact of these risks to realize success in managing cloud services contracts.
