ABSTRACT
This article reports about Republican Joe Walsh who is almost sure of winning the congressional seat of the Chicago's 8th District, upsetting Democratic Representative Melissa Bean. Walsh, a former teacher and social worker for the Milton and Rose Friedman Foundation, was expected to be one of the unlikeliest Republican winner who managed to get through from personal attacks on his personal finances. Being short of campaign funds, he mobilized over a thousand volunteer workers and took advantage of various speaking engagements to gain exposure.
