ABSTRACT
The article reports on a February 2011 announcement from the American Chiropractic Association (ACA), in which the association indicated that the Kentucky Department of Insurance had identified numerous deficiencies and violations in the business practices of the health insurance company Humana Health Plan Inc. and had fined the company $100,000. The role that the ACA and the Kentucky Association of Chiropractors played in reporting the company's violations is discussed.
