ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the likeliness of the pulp and paper industry in the U.S. to have the opportunity to lead and own the biological process with an aggressive action. It notes the development of bioenergy because of political and economic reasons. The wood resource utilized by the pulp and paper industry will be pressured by any substantial production of biofuels and biopower using clean wood resources.
