E.U. regulations challenge Victoria laundry

The article focuses on the problem facing Victoria Hospital Laundry in Victoria brought by new European Union environmental laws banning the use of lead-based solder. It mentions that Victoria Hospital retained MPC Consulting Ltd. of Sidney, British Columbia to assist in the programming and to design the new user-friendly graphic control system for its Program Logic Control (PLC) system without the use of lead. General manager Bruce Hendry was happy with the success of the new control system.
