ABSTRACT
The author believes that technology just play a subordinate and supportive role to the financial planning process, and wisdom is more important. It provides an overview of what is really the definition of "wisdom" related to financial planning. It states that clients want businesspeople to classify through all the variables of an issue and give them judgment call. The author believes technology just play a subordinate and supportive role to the financial planning process, what is more important is the wisdom which is beyond and above knowledge. It highlights the book "Wisdom: From Philosophy to Neuroscience," by Stephen S. Hall which tells that one of the distinctive attribute of wisdom is the ability to exercise good judgment in the face of imperfect knowledge.
