ABSTRACT
The article reveals the employment tribunal changes recommended by the British government, which seek to cut claim increases and generate more jobs. The changes stated by the government include payment for lodging tribunal claims and lengthening the qualifying period for unjust dismissal claims from 1 to 2 years of service. Other proposals being considered by the British government include raising the usage of alternative dispute resolution, expanding stipulations that will revoke weak or vexatious claims, and automatic fiscal penalty applications.
