ATO and ETCS can work together

The article discusses experiments by the Czech government to implement the European Rail Traffic Management System (ERTMS) throughout the country. It states that SZDC, the country's infrastructure manager, and CD, its national train operator, have set aside 22 kilometers of the Porícany region in Kolin to test European Train Control System (ETCS) Level 2 equipment, prior to implementing them on major routes with actual passengers.
