ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the cancellation of the provisions of the Assisted Human Reproduction Act by the Supreme Court of Canada. According to assistant professor Vanessa Gruben, the nullification will give patients lack of protection particularly women. It says that the approval of fertility clinics' license will be given to provinces and other territories under the court ruling. Moreover, the Assisted Human Reproduction Agency will have no authority to regulate pre-implantation diagnosis.
